01 · Start with the range

Conductivity selection must include the cell constant

Pure water, process water, wastewater and saline water can differ by several orders of magnitude. Range, cell constant, material, temperature compensation and interface must be confirmed together.

Normal and peak range

Provide minimum, normal and maximum conductivity instead of a single design value.

Cell constant and material

Select K value and PP, 316L, titanium or CPVC construction for the range and water chemistry.

Temperature, pressure and mounting

Confirm continuous temperature, pressure, thread, insertion, cable and maintenance access.

Analog or digital interface

Conventional probes need a transmitter; digital sensors can integrate through RS485 Modbus.

Confirm this information before an inquiry

Why is “measure conductivity” not enough?+

Different water matrices can span several orders of magnitude. Minimum, normal and maximum values are needed first.

Are PEC-500, 500E and 500F interchangeable?+

No. Their range, cell constant, material, temperature compensation and mounting threads differ.

Are PEC-500B and the PPS digital sensor the same product?+

No. The supplied records show different materials, power, ranges and dimensions, so they remain separate digital configurations.

Will other equipment brands appear in the cases?+

No. Public copy retains project context, deployment and verified parameters without third-party company names or branding.
