Evaluate transparency, solids, color and installation together

PDS-300 combines infrared absorption and scattered-light photometry. Suspended particles, color, bubbles, fouling and installation location in black-odorous water, rivers, aquaculture and landscape water all affect selection and maintenance planning.

01

Water body and objective

State black-odorous water grading, municipal river or lake, aquaculture or landscape water and the transparency change to be observed.

02

Range and interference

Provide minimum, normal and maximum transparency plus suspended solids, color, bubbles and fouling conditions.

03

Hydraulics and mounting

Confirm velocity, pressure, immersion location, mounting, automatic-cleaning need and maintenance access.

04

Interfaces and delivery

Confirm cable, 4–20 mA, relays, RS485, power, quantity and project destination.

02 · Product model

PDS-300 online transparency analyzer

Configured with a black FUNEL single-parameter transmitter and Ø60 × 254 mm optical probe, with 4–20 mA, relays and Modbus RS485.

03 · Operating applications

Typical transparency monitoring applications

For continuous transparency measurement in landscape water, lakes, reservoirs, urban rivers and aquaculture water.

Black-odorous water grading

Continuously track transparency as an important grading indicator for black-odorous water bodies.

Municipal rivers and lakes

Monitor transparency changes in urban inland rivers, lakes and restoration projects.

Aquaculture

Observe water-clarity trends in ponds and managed aquaculture water.

Landscape water

Add continuous transparency measurement to managed landscape-water systems.

04 · Common questions

Confirm this information before an inquiry

Does PDS-300 measure NTU?+

No. The documented result is water transparency in centimeters over a 2–100 cm range. It is not a PTU or PLTU turbidity model.

Why are two accuracy values stated?+

The source specifies ±0.3 cm or 5% of reading, whichever is greater. The page preserves that decision rule.

Does the sensor support automatic cleaning?+

The source lists an optional cleaning brush for automatic cleaning. Final cleaning configuration depends on fouling and maintenance conditions.

Can the product image be used as a dimensional drawing?+

No. It provides consistent public presentation. Dimensions and mounting remain controlled by the specifications and project confirmation.
