210 nm UV absorption measures nitrate nitrogen continuously without chemical reagents

Online UV Spectral Nitrate Analyzer
A direct-immersion, reagent-free spectral probe for continuous nitrate nitrogen measurement in drinking water, source water, industrial process water and wastewater treatment.
Both optical-path ranges, accuracy, resolution, dimensions, weights, protection and interfaces are stored separately. The black transmitter image is the approved FUNEL export presentation; final configuration remains subject to project confirmation.
Measurement principle and product highlights
Direct-immersion measurement requires no sampling or pretreatment
Two optical-path options cover 0.1–100.0 mg/L and 0.1–50.0 mg/L
Automatic cleaning reduces maintenance for continuous duty
Reverse-polarity protection supports sensor power and RS485 wiring
Time display, data storage, historical records and optional wireless transmission support project integration

Source-supported applications
Drinking water
Continuously track nitrate nitrogen in drinking-water monitoring programs.
Surface and source water
Monitor nitrate trends in rivers, lakes and source-water projects.
Industrial process water
Add reagent-free nitrate monitoring to industrial water processes.
Wastewater and aeration tanks

- 02Minimum, normal and maximum nitrate nitrogen
- 031 mm or 2 mm optical path plus turbidity, solids, bubbles and fouling
- 04Pressure, mounting, automatic cleaning and maintenance access
- 05Cable, power, 4–20 mA, relays and Modbus RS485

Selection questions
What measurement method does PUVNO3-900 use?+
It uses 210 nm UV spectral absorption and calculates nitrate nitrogen from the light absorbed in the probe path.
Do the 1 mm and 2 mm paths have the same range?+
No. The 1 mm path is 0.1–100.0 mg/L and the 2 mm path is 0.1–50.0 mg/L.
Are chemical reagents required?+
No. The source states direct-immersion measurement without sampling, pretreatment or chemical reagents.
Can the website image replace a technical drawing?+
No. It is for consistent public presentation. The Ø69 × 381/382 mm sensor dimensions, transmitter dimensions and mounting remain controlled by the datasheet and order confirmation.
Tell us what you need to measure.
We will respond with a recommended configuration, supporting documentation and quotation.
