EPA 90° scattered-light method dedicated to low-range turbidity

Low-Range Flow-Through Turbidity Analyzer
A separate-flow-cell configuration for low-range filter outlet, finished water, direct drinking water and desalination monitoring.
Range, accuracy, pressure or sample flow, interfaces, dimensions and protection are not copied between the five models. Final mounting and project configuration are controlled by the confirmation document.
Measurement principle and product highlights
Stable external flow cell separates the optical measurement from the process line
Sample and slope calibration with simple cleaning access
Automatic cleaning can be selected to reduce maintenance in fouling applications
Reverse-polarity protection for sensor power and RS485 A/B wiring
Three 4–20 mA outputs, three configurable relays and Modbus RS485
Time display, data storage, historical-data review and optional wireless transmission
Verified technical specifications
Confirm the normal and peak NTU, process location, particles and bubbles, freshwater or seawater, pressure or sample flow, mounting, cleaning, cable and control interfaces before quotation.

Recommended process fit
Filter outlet
Low-range verification after filtration and polishing stages.
Finished drinking water
Continuous treated-water monitoring where small changes matter.
Desalination
Monitor filtration and product-water stages in desalination systems.
Cooling and reuse water
Track low-range turbidity in filtered cooling and reclaimed water.
Items to confirm
First distinguish wide-range immersion monitoring from low-range flow-through monitoring, then confirm the real operating conditions.
- 01Normal, peak and alarm turbidity
- 02Raw water, sedimentation, filter outlet, finished water or wastewater point
- 03Particles, color, bubbles, fouling and cleaning conditions
- 04Pressure or sample flow, mounting space, cable and control interfaces

Selection questions
Should I select PTU or PLTU?+
PTU uses an immersion online sensor for raw water, wastewater and process water. PLTU is a low-range flow-through configuration for filter outlet, finished water and direct drinking water.
Can models with similar ranges be interchanged?+
No. Accuracy, pressure or sample flow, sensor construction, material, protection and process connections also differ.
Can the clean product image be used as a dimensional drawing?+
No. It provides consistent public presentation. Dimensions, interfaces and accessories come from the verified specifications and order confirmation.
Tell us what you need to measure.
We will respond with a recommended configuration, supporting documentation and quotation.
