The measurement challenge

Conventional glass sensors were prone to contamination and frequent maintenance in the customer’s acidic, high-fouling process.

Configured FUNEL solution

The measurement point was configured around the real medium, installation and integration requirements rather than the pH range alone.

XF260E industrial pH sensor

PTFE or PEEK liquid-junction options were selected for corrosion resistance in the acidic, contaminated medium.

PH5000 pH transmitter

Large LCD display for continuous local indication and project operation.

PTFE installation bracket

A chemically resistant mounting arrangement for reliable installation and maintenance access.

PT1000 temperature compensation

Temperature compensation was included for more accurate online measurement.

Remote commissioning solved a real wiring fault

The initial PT1000 connection produced an abnormal 83.9°C reading. FUNEL reviewed the wiring remotely, guided the terminal correction and helped return the temperature and pH display to normal operation.
