Online oil-in-water analyzer selection center

Compare two reagent-free UV-fluorescence analyzers by range, pressure, accuracy, sensor construction and water matrix.

01

Select by oil type and the actual water matrix

UV-fluorescence response depends on petroleum composition and the water matrix. Selection must include minimum-to-peak concentration, pressure, material, fouling, cleaning, mounting and interfaces—not only maximum range.

02

Confirm these conditions before selection

Water matrix and oil type

State environmental water, drinking water, seawater or industrial wastewater and identify the oil or petroleum type.

Minimum to peak range

Provide minimum, normal, peak and alarm mg/L values.

Pressure and construction

Confirm pressure plus standard SUS316L or seawater titanium construction.

Cleaning and interfaces

Provide fouling, mounting, automatic-wiper, cable, 4–20 mA, relays and RS485 requirements.

Oil-in-water selection questions

How should I choose POIL-700 or POIL-800?+

Start with POIL-700 for 0–50 mg/L and lower-pressure environmental-water duty. Compare POIL-800 for 0–100 mg/L, higher pressure, industrial service or seawater construction.

Are reagents required?+

No. Both supplied sheets describe reagent-free direct continuous measurement by UV fluorescence.
